About the "Experienced Agent" Program
BPG Training’s Experienced Agent Program is an intensive 5 days of training specifically targeting agents with a minimum of 3 years current industry experience. A participant who successfully completes this course will be awarded a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) CPP40307.The Program is designed in such a way that we offer recognition of the experience you have gained in the property industry and our workshop sessions focus on covering the units where most agents require additional training to become fully licensed, and therefore, potential Officers in Effective Control (Vic) or Licensees in Charge (NSW) of a property business.

Course Eligibility
BPG Training (Vic) has strict course eligibility requirements for those contemplating this program. A very important component of the program is for us to be able to ensure the participants are experienced agents, and so we ask you to provide a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your experience as a real estate professional. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal assessment process that recognises the skills and knowledge you have already gained in your life. We use competency based principles of validity, reliability, flexibility and, above all, fairness in assessing RPL. Experience outside the property industry can also be considered in this process. Any “gaps” in the individual participant’s program will be provided for completion by Distance mode, at no additional cost.
Prerequisites for the Experienced Agents Program
You need to have been in the property industry for at least the past 3 years – in either a Sales or Property Management role. We ask you to provide a CV covering the previous 5 years with your enrolment form.
The portfolio for RPL should include the following, and must be presented for evaluation on the first day of the program:
Please note that a sample listing presentation (if you use one) will likely include sample marketing materials, client testimonials and some current or previous listings – there is no need to “double up”.
How assessment works
Assessment is continuous throughout the program using competency based strategies. You will be assessed as ‘competent’ or ‘not yet competent’ based on your participation in the assessment activities during the 5 days and your portfolio submission. Your assessment outcome will be provided within the two weeks following the program.
Course Cost
5 days, $3,250. The program runs from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. It includes all training manuals, assessments and tutorial support as well as morning tea and afternoon tea each day.

About the License Distance Program
The license distance program is a great way to get your license at your own pace. Before course commencement, we will undertake an initial interview to identify any areas where you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). We will then require you to provide supporting documentation (for example, statements of attainment from TAFE or other RTO) to support any claim for RPL against specific units of study. Once this has been determined, the remaining units you will need to complete will be sent to you via mail, enabling you to get started straight away!
The program includes your workbook, all assessments and tutorial support.
Assessment
Assessment is continuous throughout each unit, using competency based strategies to reinforce your learning. After completing a unit, simply mail the assessment activities to us and you will be assessed as ‘competent’ or ‘not yet competent’ within 2 weeks. You’ll receive feedback on your assessments and a Statement of Attainment after achieving ‘competency’. From time to time you may need to access a workplace as part of your study but alternative activities can be arranged if this is not possible.
Costs
Initial interview $150
Units via RPL $100
Units completed elsewhere* No charge
Remaining units required $180 - $250
